James Walker Fluolion 700 Gasket
Description
Structured virgin PTFE filled with hollow glass microspheres
Fluolion 700 suitable for use in a wide variety of aggressive media including acids, caustics, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, solvents, steam and water. The high compressibility of Fluolion 700 makes this material suitable for applications requiring a lower stress gasket such as plastic, glass and ceramic flanges.
Product features
The sheets are manufactured by a unique process which overcomes the creep relaxation and cold flow problems typically associated with skived PTFE sheets and gaskets.
Typical applications
- Particularly suitable for pressure sensitive connections in pipework made of glass, ceramics, plastic, etc
- Excellent all-round gasket material especially suited to the chemical and pharmaceutical industries
- The excellent malleability of Fluolion 700 compensates for irregularities, roughness and/or damage to sealing faces
- Quick and simple to install, Fluolion 700 can be removed easily without leaving a residue
